How does the cheese taste?
Delicious! Each in its own way.
Bernese Hobelkäse Fresh and flavorful. Definitely best when the cheese is shaved into wafer-thin slices. But it's also delicious otherwise!
Organic Alpine Cheese AOP Spicy and tasty. Not quite as fresh as the Hobelkäse.
Mutschli A milder and slightly softer cheese.
Where does the milk for the cheese come from?
Do you make the cheese yourself?
Our various types of cheese are made by professionals and connoisseurs. We work with small regional businesses. Every cheese comes from our region in the Bernese Oberland.
How long does the cheese last?
Bernese Hobelkäse This is vacuum-packed and you can store it for up to 3 months. It is important that it is stored in a cool place. In a good cellar or in your refrigerator. After opening, you should consume the Hobelkäse within 3 to 6 weeks.
